Attorney Richard Traulsen
Attorney Richard Traulsen is the manaing attorney at Begam, Lewis & Marks since 1996. His practice is focused exclusively on representing the families of people killed or severely injured by the negligent or reckless conduct of others. He has handled and tried a large variety of cases, including medical malpractice and dangerous road design. He earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in 1984, and graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University College of Law. in 1994. He served as the Legislative Review Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal from 1993-94, and was awarded the Order of the Coif for his scholastic and professional achievements. Following graduation, he was selected as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Noel Fidel of the Arizona Court of Appeals. Experience and Service: Mr. Traulsen's special expertise lies in handling casesconcerning collisions involving commercial interstate trucks. He is active in the American Association for Justice, is a past national chair of the association’s Interstate Trucking Litigation Group, and a frequent lecturer at their educational programs on Interstate Trucking Litigation. Memberships: State Bar of Arizona, Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, and Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. Judge Pro Tempore, the Maricopa County Superior Court. Mr. Traulsen volunteers with the Arizona Hemophilia Association, where he serves as the current President of the Board of Directors. He also volunteers on the Board of Directors for several other nonprofit organizations, including Safe Harbor Support, Inc., an organization devoted to providing aid to Arizona families of traffic accident victims, and Camp Swift, which offers free tutoring and summer camp programs for economically disadvantaged youth.
