Attorney Alvin S. Nathanson is a named partner at Nathanson & Goldberg. He was admitted to the Massachussetts state bar in 1966 and to the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts in 1967. He is also licensed to practice before the U.S. Federal Claims Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

He graduated cum laude with honors in History from the University of Massachusetts in 1963 and from Cornell University Law School in 1966, where he joined Phi Alpha Delta.

He is a contributing Author for the following legal manuals: "Collecting From Tenants in Massachusetts," Reference Manual, Heritage Publishing Co, 1997; "Mechanics Lien Law and Strategies in Massachusetts," Reference Manual, National Business Institute, 1997; "Construction Payment Remedies in Massachusetts, "National Business Institute, 1998; "Mechanics' Lien Law and Strategies m Massachusetts," National Business Institute, 1998, 1999; “Massachusetts Construction Law: What Do You Do When ...?”, National Business Institute, 2000; “Massachusetts Construction Lien Law," Massachusetts Mechanics Liens, Lorman Educational Services, 2002; “Mechanics Lien Law," Lorman Educational Services, 2002, 2003 and 2004.

He is active in the Massachusetts Bar Association where he functions as a Fee Dispute Arbitrator and a Life Fellow at the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.
